The Great Cosmic Giggle & My Brain's Bizarre Upgrade...Is it one?

By MoAfrika Skotch Ntilane — 25 May 2025

Hear me, I've never been one to shy away from raising an eyebrow at anything that even slightly smells of "miracle" or "divine intervention." You live long enough in South Africa, you learn to doubt everything... especially things that provide answers...

Moses, The Burning Bush, & My Sudden Interest in... Interest?

Moses is just going about his sheep-herding business when he sees this bush that's burning. But it's not just burning... it's burning without burning up the bush. He doesn't swipe past it like another TikTok video. He turns to look. And that, my friend, is where it gets freaky. Because in that moment of pure, unadulterated curiosity, he's standing on holy ground.

And this is the part that's gnawing at me. It's whispering something unsettling... "What excites you, what really makes you curious, is usually holy. It's a sign. You're on holy ground when you follow that attraction."

Jesus, Daniel, & The Freaky Feeling of Remembering

These stories, which once felt like ancient myths, are starting to unlock something. It’s not like I’m learning them for the first time. It feels... more like remembering. Like my brain is downloading files, slowly, painfully, from a hard drive I didn't even know I had. A very, very old hard drive.
