My JavaScript education didn't happen in air-conditioned classrooms with neat chairs. I learned JavaScript during load-shedding with a cellphone and from downloaded Free Coursera short courses and a thousand Youtube lessons I couldn't afford to stream. I discovered variables by candlelight, debugged during power cuts, and wrote most of my functions on an empty stomach.
Let's Be Frank: JavaScript Is Both Beautiful and Maddening
Ever worked with a language that makes you feel like both a genius and a fool simultaneously? That's JavaScript. It gives you superpowers but also leaves you crying in a corner because null is an object, typeof NaN is "number," and somehow [] == ![] evaluates to true.
But this chaos resonates with those who grew up improvising, people who survived on peanut butter as their main protein source. To us, consistency is a luxury and chaos is a teacher.
Why I Keep Coming Back
Because it's a survivor's language. Imperfect but adaptable, like us. It rewards those who see past its quirks to the power beneath, people like you. People like me.
